WTS hardware provides drum builders significant benefits over tension rod systems; with up to 90% fewer holes and hardware on each drum shell, builders only need to drill 4 holes for the tuning knob.
Every other piece of hardware is free-floating from the shell, which is not only less intrusive on the drum shell, but highlights the pure tone and characteristics of the shell composition.
