MAINTENANCE:
For cut-to-size cable, the end of the cable will often fray after it is cut. If cable ends become frayed, use our Drum Cable Cutter tool to trim about 1 inch off of the end of the cable. Apply a small drop of super glue to the end of the cable after it is freshly cut. Allow the glue to dry before stringing up your drum. This will help prevent cable from fraying which will make future head changes easier, and potentially lengthen the life of the cable.
 
Caution: Never use a damaged or defective cable. Breakage could result in injury. Inspect cable for damage or defects before each use. Always replace cable if damaged, too short, or after 6 months of use.
 
REPLACEMENT:
Drum cable can be reused unless it has been damaged or cut too short. Cable must wrap a minimum of 3 times around the winding post to avoid slippage.
